A cobra mesh chain is a wrapped chain featuring substantial positive advantages as regards weight and ductility as compared to many other chains.
It is in fact totally hollow and it can be shaped thanks to this special feature.
The manual assembling procedure has been until now a difficult process and this has limited production, whereas TEKA‘s equipment has totally changed the situation. TEKA wanted to simplify the assembly procedure of this kind of chain and it therefore produced a 2-piece set plus an extra possible hammering tool, which make the assembly much easier and faster.
The first progressive tool is used for the preparation of the strip and the second semi-automatic one for the winding process and to close the pivots.
On customer’s demand it is possible to supply special hammering tool, which enables the profiling process of the chain, in order to obtain several shapes such as oval, rectangular, triangular, waves etc.
